Please note that web-based data transfer contains security vulnerabilities, which makes end-to-end protection against access by third parties impossible.

Cookies
We use cookies on our website to identify repeated use of our website by the same user/internet connection owner. Cookies are small text files which your web browser places and stores on your computer. They help us optimise our website and our services. Most of these are ‘session cookies’, which are deleted after your visit.
However, some of these cookies share information in order to automatically recognise you again. This recognition is possible because of the IP address stored in the cookies. The information obtained in this way serves to optimise our offering and make it easier for you to access our website.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by a setting in your browser; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our website.

Server data
These are some of the data types that your web browser collects/sends to our webspace provider for technical reasons (known as server log files):

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Website from which you are visiting our website (referrer URL)
  • The website you visit
  • Date and time of access
  • Your Internet Protocol (IP) address.

This anonymous data is saved separately from any personal data you enter and thus cannot be traced to a particular person. It is analysed for statistical purposes in order to be able to optimise our website and our online offering.

Registration function
We offer you the opportunity to register on our website. The data entered during this registration is visible in the input mask on the registration form

name and email address

and is only collected and saved for your use of our online offering. By registering on our website, we will also save your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This serves as a safeguard on our part in case a third party misuses your data to register on our website unbeknown to you.  We do not share this data with third parties. Nor do we compare the data collected in this way with data that may have been collected by other components of our website.

Newsletter
Please take the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. The newsletter is sent out at regular intervals and contains our latest offers. You will need a valid email address to receive the newsletter. We will check the email address you enter to make sure that you are the actual owner of the email address or that the owner of the email address is authorised to receive the newsletter. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we save your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This serves as a safeguard on our part in case a third party misuses your email address and subscribes to our newsletter unbeknown to you. No further data is collected by us. The data collected in this way is used solely in relation to our newsletter. We do not share this data with third parties. Nor do we compare the data collected in this way with data that may have been collected by other components of our website. You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. Details of how to do so can be found in the confirmation email and in each newsletter.

Ways of contacting us
Our website contains details of how to contact us by email and/or via the contact form. When you contact us in these ways, the information provided by you is saved in order to process your enquiry. We do not share this data with third parties. Nor do we compare the data collected in this way with data that may have been collected by other components of our website.

Use of Google Analytics with anonymisation function
On our website we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter referred to as ‘Google’. Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, i.e. text files that are saved on your computer to allow your use of the website to be analysed.

The information generated by these cookies – such as the time, location and frequency of your visit to our website, including your IP address – is sent to Google in the USA and saved there.

We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymisation function on our website. This means that your IP address is already shortened, and thus anonymised, by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other countries that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information to analyse your use of our website to compile reports about the activity on our website for us and to provide other services related to your use of the website and of the internet. In addition, Google may transmit this information to third parties if so required by law or to the extent that third parties process these data on behalf of Google.

Under no circumstances will Google, by its own account, link your IP address to other data obtained by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies via a setting in your browser; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our website.

Furthermore, Google offers a disabling function for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over what data Google collects and processes. If you activate this option, no information about your visit to our website will be sent to Google Analytics. Activating this option does not, however, stop information being sent to us or to other web analysis services that may be used by us. Further information about the disabling option provided by Google as well as on activating this option can be found here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Use of Google+ recommendation functions
On our website we use the ‘+1’ button by Google+ by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter referred to as ‘Google’.
Each time you access our website featuring this ‘+1’ button, the component prompts your browser to download an image of the Google component. This process informs Google about exactly which page on our website you are currently visiting.
According to Google’s own information, your visit will not be analysed any further, provided you are not logged into your Google account.

If you visit our website while you are logged into Google and click on the ‘+1’ button, Google can collect information about your Google account, the website you recommended as well as your IP address and other browser-related information.

This means that your ‘+1’ recommendation can be saved and made accessible to the public. Your Google ‘+1’ recommendation made in this way can then be displayed as a tip together with your account name and any photo you have saved to Google in Google services, for example in search results or in your Google account or other places, such as on websites and online advertisements. Furthermore, Google can link your visit to our website with the data you have saved to Google. Google also records this information to improve Google services.
The best way of preventing Google from collecting this information is by logging out of your Google account before visiting our website.

You can find Google’s privacy policy for the ‘+1’ button and further information about the collection, sharing and use of data by Google, your rights in this respect and your profile setting options here: https://developers.google.com/+/web/buttons-policy

Use of Google Maps functions
We use Google Maps on our website in combination with the so-called ‘share function’.  ‘Google Maps’ is a service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter referred to as ‘Google’.

Each time you access Google Maps, Google places a cookie to process user settings and data when the page containing Google Maps is called up. This cookie is not usually deleted when the browser is closed, but rather expires after a certain time, unless you manually delete it beforehand.

If you do not consent to your data being processed in this way, you have the option of disabling the Google Maps service and thus preventing data from being sent to Google. To this end, you must disable Java Script in your browser. Please note, however, that in this case, you will not be able to use Google Maps or will only be able to use it with limited functionality.

Google Maps and the information obtained via Google Maps is used in accordance with Google’s conditions of use
http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html

as well as the additional terms and conditions of business for Google Maps
https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html

The Google Maps function also contains the following buttons:

  • ‘Google+ button’ by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043. USA;
  • ‘Facebook button’ by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA;
  • ‘Twitter button’ by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

By opening the Google Maps page, these components prompt the browser you are using to download the relevant icon of the component from the respective provider. This will inform the respective provider about exactly which page of our website you are currently visiting.

If you are logged into your personal account with the aforementioned providers when you open the Google Maps page, these providers can collect the information obtained in this way via the website recommended by you as well as your IP address and other browser-related information and link it to your respective account.

If you would like to prevent the respective provider from sending and saving data about you and your activity on our website, you must log out from these providers before visiting our website.

Use of Facebook components
We use components by the provider Facebook.com on our website. Facebook is a service provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.
Each time you access our website featuring this type of component, the component prompts your browser to download an image of the Facebook component. This process informs Facebook about exactly which page on our website you are currently visiting.
If you open our website while you are logged into Facebook, from the information collected by the component Facebook will identify exactly which page you are visiting and will associate this information with your personal account on Facebook. For example, if you click the  ‘Like’ button or enter comments, this information will be sent to your personal user account on Facebook and saved there. In addition, the fact that you have visited our site will be shared with Facebook. This happens regardless of whether you click on the component or not.
If you would like to prevent Facebook from sending and saving data about you and your activity on our website, you must log out of Facebook before you visit our website. Facebook’s privacy policy provides more detailed information about this, in particular on the collection and use of data by Facebook, your rights in this respect and the settings option to protect your privacy: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/

Use of YouTube components with enhanced privacy mode
Our website uses components (videos) by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA, 94066 USA, a company of Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

We use the ‘enhanced privacy mode’ provided by YouTube.

If you visit a page that has a video embedded, a connection is established to the YouTube servers and the content is displayed on our website via your browser.

According to YouTube’s own information, in enhanced privacy mode only certain data is sent to the YouTube server, in particular which of our webpages you have visited when you watch the video. If you are logged into YouTube at the same time, this information will be associated with your YouTube member account. You can stop this from happening by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.

Google provides further information about YouTube’s data protection policy here:

Job advertisements / online job applications
Your application information will be collected and processed by us electronically for the purpose of the application process. If your application results in an employment contract, the data you submit may be stored by us in your staff file for the usual organisational and administrative purposes, taking into account the relevant legal provisions.
If your application is unsuccessful, the data you submit will be deleted automatically two months after you have been informed of such outcome. This shall not apply if the data needs to be stored for longer due to legal requirements (for example the burden of proof in accordance with the General Act on Equal Treatment) or if you have expressly consented to longer storage in our potential candidate database.

Information/revocation/erasure
According to the German Federal Data Protection Act, you can contact us free of charge with any questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data or if you want to update, block, delete or revoke your consent. Please note that you have a right to the correction of incorrect data or the erasure of personal data, provided there is no legal obligation to preserve records which conflicts with this right.
